POPURLs ~ popular urls to the latest buzz

Popurls is a great resource site.

I can scan down through the page — look and see what’s popular… what’s buzzing and hot at the moment, and then write an article on the same topic.

If I’m not up to writing a new post… I can simply visit the “hot” buzzing article, make a comment on the page (if it is in my niche) – and have a link back to my blog.

Or, I can do like I sometimes do — write a post about that post if it is a WordPress blog – link to their post within my post and possibly get a trackback.

Like you… I only have so much time in a day — and here lately, there is not enough time in the day to get everything done that I need to – so I need to streamline a few of my daily tasks. In order to keep up with trends… whats popular… and what people are talking about, I visit quite a few social networking sites and forums – and this takes a lot of time. Here’s an example of what’s popular at Digg right now; What’s popular at del.icio.us; Clipmarks…. How about Popular Videos at Youtube and Pictures at Flickr; (Russ, thought that was a boys name… that’s no boy — 3AM, go to bed) I guess the obvious question is this; “why should I even care what’s popular or what others are talking about?” I’m not going to go into why you should care in this post — but I’ll give you an example. If something is really buzzing and just picking up speed…
